Located in the heart of the Franconian Lake District, between Lake Brombach and Lake Roth, in the Nuremberg metropolitan region, the comfortably equipped Camping Waldsee stretches picturesquely along a swimming lake on the edge of a large forest.

Our campsites are nestled in nature and offer plenty of peace and quiet, fresh air, and that authentic camping experience—ideal for tents, trailers, and RVs.

Accessibility

The campground is all at ground level and has an accessible restroom and shower. You can pick up the key for these facilities at the registration desk.

The restaurant is also wheelchair-accessible, so nothing stands in the way of a pleasant visit.

To ensure you can enjoy a relaxing camping experience, we offer modern restroom facilities, convenient service areas, and short distances throughout the campground.

As much nature as possible, as much comfort as necessary—the facilities at Camping Waldsee are designed according to this principle. The restroom facilities are well-maintained and easily accessible, featuring showers, restrooms, and areas for washing clothes and dishes. This makes even longer stays comfortable and hassle-free.

Please note that minors may only stay overnight with us if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, and groups may only stay overnight if they have a sufficient number of supervisors (adult group leaders from clubs, scout groups, etc.). What types of parking spaces are there?

Our campsites are suitable for tents, trailers, and RVs. They are nestled in a natural setting between the forest and the lake and, depending on their location, offer sunny or shaded areas. All sites have electrical hookups and are just a short walk from the central facilities.

Yes, dogs are welcome on our campsites. We ask that you keep your dogs on a leash while on the premises and be considerate of other guests so that everyone can enjoy their stay.
The Waldsee is within easy walking distance of nearly all campsites. Depending on where your site is located, it takes about one to three minutes to walk to the water—perfect for spontaneous walks or peaceful mornings by the lake.
Yes, our restroom facilities are modern, well-maintained, and easily accessible. They offer hot showers, washing facilities, and separate dishwashing areas, and are cleaned regularly.
Please feel free to include any preferences regarding the location in your request—for example, a particularly quiet or shaded spot. We will do our best to accommodate these requests, but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to meet them.

We recommend making a reservation, especially during peak season and on holidays. You can easily request your desired dates using our online inquiry form.

Camping Waldsee is in a very quiet location overall. Some areas are particularly secluded and are ideal for those seeking relaxation. We’d be happy to accommodate this request when you make your reservation.

Barbecues are permitted, provided that a suitable
electric or gas grill is used. Open fires are not permitted on the campground.

Wi-Fi is available in select areas of the campground. Due to the campground’s natural setting, the connection may vary depending on your location.
Check-in takes place at the campground reception desk. You can find the seasonal opening hours on-site or on the Contact page of our website. Outside of reception hours, guests may arrive until 10 p.m. by prior arrangement. Access to the property will be provided, and check-in will take place the following morning.
